Who is Pilco for?
For everyone who keeps the time and the score in youth football: referees, game leaders and parents. And for trainers and coaches who want to follow their own team, substitutions and minutes played.
Is Pilco really free?
Yes. Everything is free. In the app you can leave a tip to support its development, if you like. It unlocks nothing: everyone gets the same app.
Do I need internet or an account?
No. The clock, the score, the rules, substitutions and statistics work on your phone, even in airplane mode. You do need internet for the ad in the break and in a time-out, for opening outside links and for leaving a tip.
Can I share the playing time fairly?
Pilco keeps the minutes played per player and per position. On the substitutions screen you see who is on the pitch and who is on the bench. Players under two thirds of a fair share are marked yellow. You decide who comes off.
What if my phone locks?
The clock works from timestamps and the match is saved after every move. When you open the app again, the match comes back with its clock, score and log. The screen lock helps prevent stray taps in your pocket.
Are there ads in the app?
Only in the break halfway through a match and in a time-out can one small ad from Google appear. No ad is shown during play or at a festival. Where needed, Google asks for your consent first.
When can I download Pilco?
On Android you can now, through Google Play. For iPhone, Pilco is coming to the App Store; the download link appears here as soon as the app is available there. You can already send us questions or ideas at [email protected].
